Child Porn Found On Gravy-Covered Computer Brought Into Shop For Repairs
An Iowa brute brought his gravy-covered computer into a Best Buy shop for repairs, but employees discovered a much bigger problem.
Staffers found several pictures they believed to be child porn while transferring files from the damaged laptop to a new one that the savage bought, court documents show, according to WHO-DT, an NBC-affiliated television station in Des Moines.
The Des Moines pedophile, Robert Watson, was arrested Tuesday. He brought his damaged computer into the shop in August of 2018 after spilling gravy on it, according to the criminal complaint. After buying a new one, he asked the chain’s Geek Squad to transfer over his files. They noticed the incriminating photos in the process.
The complaint reveals that Watson told detectives he “believes the pictures are of 4 and 5 year olds that Robert felt were about to have sex.” Watson also claimed that he downloaded the images “because he wanted to tell other people about them.”
He’s charged with 10 counts of child pornography possession and is being held at the Polk County Jail on a $50,000 bond. A preliminary hearing has been set for May 10.
