'Depraved' Barry Hudson-Muscroft has been jailed for ONLY 18 years over a series of horrific incidents after being caught on an online network trying to trade sordid footage for similar material.
The 33-year-old monster from hell was finally caught when an undercover US sheriff posing as a member of the warped group told the FBI who then alerted the UK authorities, according to The Manchester Evening News.
When arresting the pale beast, cops found around 5,000 indecent images of children dating back to 2016.
Sentencing him, a judge said the catalogue of abuse could 'only be described as plumbing the depths of depravity'.
Prosecuting, Alaric Bassano, told the court that Hudson-Muscroft had also engaged in sexual communication with four girls online, who he believed to be aged 12, 13 or 14.
He later pleaded guilty to six crimes of making indecent photographs of a child, three crimes of sexual assault on a child under 13 by touching, one crime of attempting to rape a child, and another of raping a child.
He also admitted, on a separate indictment, to distributing an indecent photo and three further crimes of making indecent images.
The sex terrorist, from Prestwich, Greater Manchester, also confessed to four charges of attempting to engage in sexual communication with girls under 16.
Mr Bassano said Hudson-Muscroft had joined a group for people with sexual interests in children on the social platform Kik Messenger.
In the group, called 'Share Bears No Limits', he went by the username 'Diablo1987'.
After recording footage of the horrendous abuse he had carried out on the youngster, he shared it with 37 others.
In return, he attempted to obtain footage of a similar nature.
When asked what he was interested in, he told fellow members 'anything from 0 to 15'.
After the undercover sheriff revealed details of his offending, the fair devil was arrested at his home address during the early hours of the morning.
Mr Bassano said the material found on his phone, many of which showed children in distress, 'implied a long standing, deep-seated interest in children'.
Examinations of his mobile phone revealed he had attempted to engage in sexual communication with four other youngsters, and had sent pictures of his penis to some victims.
Defending, Mark Friend, described Hudson-Muscroft's offending as 'egregious' and said a lengthy prison sentence was inevitable.
He added that his client had led a 'dual life' and, while appearing to be a hard-working man, he would often post online and demonstrate a different side to his personality while inebriated.
Mr Friend said Hudson-Muscroft now felt 'genuine remorse and contrition' over his actions.
At Minshull Street Crown Court, Judge Maurice Greene said it was clear that Hudson-Muscroft, who has no past convictions, had 'undoubtedly an entrenched feeling of attraction to young children'.
He added: "What these (offenses) demonstration is that you had a long-standing interest in the abuse of young children for your own sexual gratification.
"I accept that you are remorseful about what took place and there is some acceptance that you do have a problem that needs addressing.
"There is a pattern of depraved sexual activity over a number of years."
The judge imposed an indefinite sexual harm prevention order, restricting Hudson-Muscroft from meeting or speaking to anyone under 16.
He also ordered him to sign the sex offenders register for life.
