Diabolical Whore Of Babylon: Laurie Softley

A married music teacher at a top state school who had a drunken tryst with a student chorister five years after sleeping with another pupil has been banned from the classroom indefinitely.

Laurie Softley, 34, plied the 17-year-old sixth-form boy - known only as Pupil B - with shots of alcohol at her home at Christmas in 2013 before he performed a sex act on her.

She had previously been handed a final warning for gross misconduct by The Ecclesbourne School in Duffield, Derbyshire, after having sex with 17-year-old Pupil A in 2008. Both students were in the school choir which she led.

The school said it interviewed both the bitch in heat and Pupil B after allegations against her surfaced in 2013 but was unable to prove any illicit behavior as neither confessed.

Pupil B did not admit the incident until a counselling session in 2017, after which the White Whore of Babylon was reported to the authorities. She was suspended from the academy school and resigned shortly afterwards.

Derbyshire Police also investigated at the time but decided against prosecution.

She was today struck off after the Teaching Regulation Agency, sitting in Coventry, said she had brought the profession into disrepute.

Pupil B told the hearing how he performed a sex act on his form tutor as a 17-year-old just weeks after they had kissed for the first time in her flat.

Now 23, he said: 'She initiated a kiss and then she took her shirt off. I saw her topless.

'I believe she took off her trousers because I performed a sex act on her. I was unable to get an erection so no sex act was performed on me.

'Ms Softley got dressed again and we continued to hang out.'

Softley was previously slapped with a final warning in 2008 after admitting a one-night-stand with another music student while he was preparing for A-Levels.

But the matter was never made public by school bosses.

Giving evidence, Pupil A revealed he had sex with the ugly bitch in her home after playing pool in a pub.

He recalled: 'We went into her living room and then walked into the kitchen, where she poured us both a glass of wine.

'At some point we kissed. We continued to kiss and we both took off our tops.

'We moved to the sofa and I lay horizontally on top of her. After a while we decided to go upstairs to her bedroom.

'We carried on kissing and touching one another. Ms Softley then took a condom from her bedside table drawer and we had sex.

'Afterwards we went back downstairs. I went to the toilet and she went for a cigarette.

'We sat downstairs on the sofa. At some point she ended up performing oral sex on me.'

The cock sucker has been banned indefinitely after allegations of unacceptable professional conduct were proved.

Panel chair Jean Carter said: 'One of these behaviors is serious sexual misconduct where the act was sexually motivated and resulted in, or had the potential to result in, harm to a person or persons, particularly where the individual has used their professional position to influence or exploit a person.

'The panel has found that Ms Softley has engaged in sexual activity with two pupils. This conduct had the potential to cause harm to Pupils A and B and both gave evidence of the adverse effect it had had upon them.

'Moreover, the panel consider that Ms Softley has not provided any satisfactory evidence of insight.'

Outstanding-rated The Ecclesbourne School is described as being one of Britain's top state schools.

A spokesman said: 'The decision to retain Ms Softley's employment in 2008 was taken by the previous headteacher after a thorough investigation and consultation with all of the relevant education and safeguarding agencies.

'As soon as allegations surfaced in 2013, we conducted an exhaustive internal inquiry, which included formal interviews with both Ms Softley and the student alleged to have been involved, but we were not presented with sufficient evidence for us conclude that these were anything more than unfounded rumor and gossip.

'As such, our position was that there was no legal basis upon which we could take any disciplinary action.

'When we were informed of the Police's investigation into the same allegations last year, we took the instant decision to suspend Ms Softley.'
