A Berthoud middle school teacher has been arrested on charges of sexual assault of a child, accused of an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old student.
The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office received a Safe2Tell report on June 9 alleging an inappropriate sexual relationship between a white teacher and a student at Turner Middle School in Berthoud, according to a release from the Sheriff’s Office. Further investigation has led authorities to believe the teacher is 24-year-old Kyle Alexander Faust of Thornton, and that the victim is a 13-year-old girl.
The diabolical crimes began in March and occurred both at and away from school, according to the release.
Investigators executed a search and arrest warrant Wednesday and the white pedophile was taken into custody without incident at his home in Thornton and booked into the Adams County Jail.
The child rapist has been charged with enticement of a child, a class 4 felony; sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust, a class 3 felony; internet sexual exploitation of a child, a class 4 felony; and internet luring of a child, a class 5 felony.
Bond has not been set in this case.
The blue eyed devil taught seventh-grade math at Turner Middle School from January to May of this year, according to Mike Hausmann, spokesman for the district. He resigned his position at the end of the year before the investigation started, Hausmann said.
Like all other teachers in the district, the sex criminal did pass a background check, Hausmann said.
While the child molester is no longer employed with the district, he is listed on Ballotpedia, which says he is planning to run for the U.S. House of Representatives for Colorado’s 7th Congressional District.
The sex terrorist had filed with the Federal Election Commission in February with the intent to run in the 2022 midterm election.
His biography says that he was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2019. His page states that his career experience includes working “as a middle school math and social studies teacher.”
Anyone with information about the incident or any other incidents involving Faust has been asked to call investigator Kevin Hobson at 970-498-5162. People can also call Crime Stoppers at (970) 221-6868 where they remain anonymous.
The release added that because of the sensitive nature of the investigation and to protect the victim no further information about the case will be released.
No court date had been set for the blond pedophile in either Larimer or Adams counties.
