A former North Carolina superior court judge is accused of committing a sex offense against a child, according to Ashevillle police.
Daniel Ray Green, 64, faces two felonies and two misdemeanor charges after an incident police say occurred at a hotel near the Biltmore Estate, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times.
The diabolical pedophile couldn’t be reached for comment, the Citizen-Times reported.
Officers responded Saturday to the hotel “after reports of a sexual assault on a juvenile, who was known to the suspect prior to the incident,” Asheville police spokeswoman Christina Hallingse said in an email to McClatchy.
The sex criminal was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree statutory sex offense with a child, disseminate obscene material to a minor, give fortified spirits to persons under 21 and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
“A judge told Green Monday in court he could face life in prison if convicted by a jury for statutory rape of a child,” WSOC reports.
The child rapist was released on a $75,000 bond and is set to go to court later this month, according to WHKY.
The evil white savage, who practices law in Hickory, was a “NC Superior Court judge for seven months in 2002,” according to the Asheville Citizen-Times. He also previously served as Democratic Party chair in Catawba County, the Hickory Daily Record reports.
Last year, Green won the Citizen Lawyer Award, an honor that recognizes people for “volunteer service and leadership,” according to the North Carolina Bar Association website.
