No Prison Time For A Pedophile Accused Of Sexually Terrorizing A Young Girl
A white beast from Fargo will avoid jail time after police said he sexually abused a minor and possessed child porn.
Raymond Terrance Reid, who faced up to life in prison on a felony charge of gross sexual imposition, pleaded guilty last week in Cass County District Court to a lesser charge of contributing to the deprivation or delinquency of a minor, a misdemeanor. Judge Frank Racek gave the sex terrorist credit for having already spent 143 days in jail. On the child porn charge, the child rapist must serve three years of supervised probation. He also must register as a sex offender. Court documents alleged the sex monster inappropriately touched a child multiple times between Jan. 1, 2015, and May 31, 2019. The child who was under 10 years old at the time of the abuse told police that the child molester sexually abused her with paintbrushes, tried to rape her, showed her video of naked adults and took photos of her, court documents said. Investigators said they found evidence the white devil downloaded child porn to his phone.
The sex bandit was slated for trial next week, but a plea deal resolved the case with a lesser charge.
Asked about the case, Prosecutor Tracy Hines said that as cases progress, concerns can arise and prosecutors have to make decisions on how to proceed based on what they believe is best for the case.
The sex demon denied the allegations at his Aug. 5 sentencing. He was allowed to enter Alford pleas, which means he maintains his innocence but acknowledges prosecutors had enough evidence to convict him.
