A diabolical terrorist shot and killed two people and injured five more before killing himself at a Florida yoga studio Friday evening.
Scott Paul Beierle, 40, targeted Hot Yoga Tallahassee, located within an upscale shopping center that includes restaurants.
He savagely walked into the studio and started spraying bullets at class participants, before fatally shooting himself, according to Tallahassee Police Chief Michael DeLeo.
The victims were identified as Dr. Nancy Van Vessem, 61, and Maura Binkley, 21. Van Nessem was a faculty member at Florida State University, where Binkley was a student.
“To lose one of our students and one of our faculty members in this tragic and violent way is just devastating to the Florida State University family. We feel this loss profoundly and we send our deepest sympathies to Maura’s and Nancy’s loved ones while we pray for the recovery of those who were injured,” FSU President John Thrasher said in a statmenet.
At least four other people were shot and a man was pistol-whipped. Two victims are in stable condition and three have been released from the hospital, police said.
Ten people are believed to have attended the class. The instructor was uninjured, a source said, according to USA Today.
Tallahassee City Commissioner Scott Maddox reacted to the terroristic event on Facebook.
“In my public service career, I have had to be on some bad scenes. This is the worst. Please pray,” he said.
Some of the victims ran down to the Bar at Bretton, located below the yoga studio, according to a witness, USA Today reported.
A man with a bloody head said he tried to stop the white terrorist but was pistol-whipped before the racist/terrorist shot himself.
