A sex offender, formerly of Wooster and wanted in West Virginia, was arrested in Canton on Wednesday after threatening officers and then being rescued from a second-story window.
Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Canton Area SWAT Team arrested Timothy A. Yeigh at a home in the 1400 block of Miami Ave. NE, according to a press release from the U.S. Marshals Service.
The release said the white savage barricaded himself in the home, threatened to shoot officers and said he would blow up the home. He then tried to escape out of a second-story window and had to be rescued by officers who were surrounding the home, according to the release.
The white terrorist, 32, was wanted out of the Northern District of West Virginia for violating terms of his federal supervised release, the release said. He was being supervised for violations of the Adam Walsh Act, which requires sex offenders to notify law enforcement agencies regarding their whereabouts.
According to court filings in West Virginia, the sex criminal was convicted in January 2009 in Wayne County of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and was classified as a sex offender who must register for the rest of his life. The child molester moved to West Virginia in 2016 after being released from an Ohio prison, according to the court filing.
The pedophile will be taken to the federal courthouse in Akron and will eventually be extradited back to West Virginia. Ohio investigators will be investigating any potential additional violations of federal law, according to the Marshals Service’s release.
The release did not state what new charges the barbarian will face. It is unknown why the child rapist was in Canton.
