A Pineville couple already facing separate trials on rape and other charges has been arrested again after "additional allegations of criminal sexual conduct involving juveniles," according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office.
Edward Wayne Phillips, 51, and Kelly Dianne Phillips, 43, of the 100 block of Hickory Street, were arrested by the sheriff's office in June 2018 on multiple charges after being accused of sexually abusing a juvenile over six years.
They each were arrested on three counts of first-degree rape, 10 counts of sexual battery and 13 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile. Both later were indicted by a Rapides Parish grand jury.
Edward Phillips faces a June trial on three counts of first-degree rape, as well as an unrelated drug charge. Kelly Phillips has a May trial set on two counts of first-degree rape and three felony counts of being an accessory after the fact.
The new charges stem from a March 10 complaint, according to a release. These diabolical crimes happened in 2018.
After an investigation and interview of victims at Children's Advocacy Center, warrants were obtained for the pair, it reads.
Kelly Phillips was arrested first, on March 19, by detectives and members of a U.S. Marshals Violent Offenders Task Force.
She was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center on charges of false imprisonment, two counts of sexual battery on a victim younger than 13, two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles younger than 13 and two counts of molestation of a juvenile younger than 13.
She remains in jail on an $80,000 bond.

Edward Phillips' total bond now is $390,000.
