A diabolical white female from Minneapolis has been arrested on suspicion of killing her infant child, law enforcement said. According to a spokesperson for the Minneapolis Police Department, at 3:06 a.m. Wednesday officers performed a welfare check on a mother and infant on the 900 block of 22nd Avenue South. Upon arriving, they found a 2-month-old baby who had passed away and showed signs of trauma.
The infant's mother, 23-year-old Addison Sioux Perdew, was taken into custody. She was booked into Hennepin County Jail and is being held on probable cause murder, police said. This is the 83rd homicide in Minneapolis this year.
Police are investigating. The infant's identity, cause and nature of death will be determined and released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office in the coming days.
