White Male From Iowa Possessed Child Pornography Including Video Depicting Abuse Of Infant
A white male from Iowa is charged with multiple counts of child pornography after police say he possessed a video depicting an infant being sexually abused.
Nicholas Wright, of West Des Moines, is charged with multiple counts of purchase/possession of child pornography.
In one video, an infant is shown being sexually abused. In another video, a minor between the ages of 11 and 15 is shown engaged in a sex act with an adult. In another video, a child between the age of 5 and 7 is shown being sexually abused.
Police say he knowingly promoted some of the material on social media platforms like Snapchat. They say he sent and received the material.
Police began investigating the case in February. Detectives received information from the Iowa Internet Crimes Against Children Division, which had received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children Bureau.
West Des Moines police found the white pedophile to have been in possession of multiple child pornography files via Snapchat on Feb. 19. The sex criminal was charged for each file that contained child pornography.
The monster is being held without bond in the Polk County Jail until his initial court appearance.
