White Male Sentenced To 60 Years In Prison For Sexual Abuse Of Children, Production Of Child Porn
A Marlboro white male will spend probably the rest of his life in prison for recording his sexual abuse of two children and the production or attempted production of child pornography of 11 other children, all between the ages of four and 12 years old.
Philip Raymond, 65, pleaded guilty to 13 counts of sexual exploitation of children, and attempt, on March 30. On Wednesday, U.S. District Court Judge Richard G. Stearns sentenced the white pedophile to 60 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release should he ever be let out of prison.
The child rapist, who prosecutor Anne Paruti described as a “serial predator” in her Monday sentencing memo, was arrested and charged with the crimes in October 2020 and has been in federal custody since that time.
U.S. Attorney Rachael Rollins described the white monster and his actions as “a parent’s worst nightmare” in a statement released following his sentencing.
“Over the course of eight years, Mr. Raymond exploited 13 young, defenseless children known to him,” she said. “He grossly took advantage of the trust placed in him by his victims and their families to inflict indescribable trauma and suffering.”
Prosecutor Paruti, in her sentencing memo, states that not only did the pedophile sexually abuse and record pornography of children, but kept extensive notes of his grooming of the children and the facts of his abuse.
“In writings and recordings that he never expected to see the light of day, he reveled in his illicit access to children entrusted to his care and glorified his hands-on abuse of one of his victims,” she wrote. She added, “The defendant’s diary-style written account of his grooming and abuse of Minor A and his videotaped explanation of how and why he was planting a spy-cam in his home — to capture little girls’ developing bodies in the nude — demonstrate that his protracted course of conduct was designed for one purpose: his own sexual gratification.”
Before his case was elevated to the federal level, the white devil was arrested Feb. 7, 2020, by Marlboro police and charged by the Middlesex District Attorney’s office on 10 charges of posing a child in a state of nudity; one charge of aggravated rape of a child; aggravated indecent assault and battery on a person under 14; and one charge of posing a child in a sexual act in connection with photographing, videotaping and sexually assaulting 11 girls who were known to him, according to a police and DA release from that time.
It all started when the State Police Cyber Crimes Unit working with Marlboro Police searched Raymond’s home and arrested him for possession of child pornography found on his laptop and continued their investigation into his “heavily encrypted” electronic devices over several months in which they uncovered “several folders containing images of children in various states of nudity.
“In a folder labeled ‘Homemade’ were located several other subfolders that were labeled with the names of multiple female children known to the defendant ranging in age from approximately 4 – 12 years old, later identified as the victims in this investigation,” the police and DA release states.
