A white male from Shasta Lake was arrested this week after sheriff's deputies found "hundreds" of sexually explicit photos of underage girls in a shed on his property.
The pedophile, identified as Jeremy Michael Saber, 47, admitted to possessing child pornography and taking photos of victims in an interview, according to a press release from the Shasta County Sheriff's Office.
On Oct. 15, deputies searched barbarian's home on the 4700 block of Deer Creek Avenue and discovered an outbuilding with a separate locked room. Inside the room, investigators found "hundreds" of images depicting girls that look to be about 9- to 15-years old in a sexually explicit manner.
"The room also contained adult- and child-sized mannequins dressed up in wigs, makeup and posed in various stages of sexual acts," the sheriff's office said.
Deputies also learned of a storage unit the child molester had rented from Bryant Security Storage in Shasta Lake. When they searched the unit, they again found hundreds of images similar to the ones on his property, the sheriff's office said.
Officials have identified four victims in the case, whom they say will remain confidential.
The monster was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of multiple counts of "lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14."
He has been charged with at least 20 various felony counts, according to computerized court records.
"This is an active and ongoing investigation; further charges are expected to be filed in the future," the sheriff's office said.
